Peyton and Wyatt had the most beautiful barn wedding near Kansas City. Schwinn Barn Farm is a hidden gem in the Kansas City area. The venue holds hundreds, and has a platform that offers a great aerial shot inside the barn. The ceremony spot is the true gem. A tree covered area, where the light comes in just right and provides enough shade to keep everyone cool on a hot day.
Peyton and Wyatt were victims of the stay at home orders, their original wedding date being in April. We were blessed with spring-type weather on their new date in August, still warm enough to not need a jacket but cool enough that no one was pouring sweat all day.
As you can clearly see in the photos, Peyton absolutely slayed as a bride. Drop dead gorgeous. It should be illegal.
Something fun that most weddings don’t have is a hay ride! We got to take a hay ride out to a location for some wedding party photos after the ceremony. It was a fun moment for the couple to be able to celebrate immediately after the ceremony with their closest friends. Grabbing a couple drinks was a bonus.
Wyatt performing for the garter retrieval had to be the best part of the day. He may have gotten a little into it and split his pants! Yes, you read that correctly. You’re going to want to check that out in the photos below.
If you’re looking for a barn wedding venue near Kansas City, I would definitely look into Schwinn.
