Built in 1915, the Lumber Co. Event Space is the perfect combination of elegant and rustic. Located just half an hour south of Kansas City, this venue is in the perfect location for anyone getting married in Missouri. The space features industrial style red brick walls, rustic wood panel fences, and an elegant room upstairs that makes a perfect space to get ready.
The bridal suite is often overlooked by venues – but good lighting is so important for your wedding photos, and that’s no different when it comes to getting ready! The bridal suite’s fun geometric mirrors and white wooden paneling make it the perfect spot to sip mimosas with your bridal party as you get pampered.
There is seating both indoors and outside, so you can choose to have your ceremony inside with artfully placed red brick walls, or outdoors in the sunshine. Plus, you’ll have a backup plan if it rains! After the ceremony, you can decide whether you want a cozy reception indoors, or a relaxed celebration outside by the fire pit. With an onsite photo booth, any reception at the Lumber Co will be a blast!
The Event Space can host up to 300 guests, making it the perfect venue for larger celebrations. There are two options for ceremonies – an outdoor ceremony on the lawn with a stone aisle and elevated altar, or an indoor ceremony in the Reception Hall. The Reception Hall features French doors, unique chandeliers, and a stone fireplace, making it the perfect cozy yet elegant spot for your post-ceremony celebration.
There is even an adorable Victorian house on the property, which serves as a getting ready suite and has lots of windows for gorgeous, natural lighting.
The Fields at 1890 is a smaller venue, and features more rustic elements than the elegant and regal Event Space. The Fields can host up to 150 people, so this option at 1890 is best for those choosing to have a smaller wedding!
Ceremonies at The Fields are set with gorgeous green rolling hills in the background, a stone aisle, and a gorgeous white arbor. Ceremonies can also be held indoors in the Reception Hall, a rustic space with barnwood doors, wood tables, and cheery decor.
Just 30 minutes north of Kansas City is the Tobacco Barn Farm, a renovated 100 year old barn that provides the perfect rustic backdrop for any wedding! You can tie the knot outdoors with a garden ceremony by the pond, or indoors with a cozy, rustic barn wedding.
