I spent and evening hanging out with Lauren and Logan for couple’s photos at Chisholm Creek in Wichita, Kansas. Lauren realized all of the photos they have together are selfies with snapchat filters and she wanted to change that. 

In our busy society, it’s pretty common to only have professional photos taken at milestones in your life. Like graduation, engagement, wedding, maternity, and then occasionally after having kids. Professional photos don’t have to be attached to an event to be beneficial. I am obviously biased. I think photos are so important. Once the moment is gone, it’s gone. It lives only in memories. With photos, those memories are brought to life and get to live on forever. A tangible reminder every time you look at it. 

So even if you don’t have a big life event happening, get those photos done. Freeze this moment for yourself, for your family and friends. It’s always worth preserving memories, no matter how big or how small.
