Madison and Hunter chose Kansas City’s favorite park for their engagement photos. Loose Park is the ever-popular space to have your photos done, but for good reason. It’s beautiful!

Madison wanted to have their wedding in an English garden but since a destination wedding in England wasn’t in the budget, she settled for having her engagement photos done in the rose garden at Loose Park.

Madison was worried about bringing her dogs with to the engagement session. They can be a little crazy, or “crack heads” as she called them. But if you hire the right photographer, you’ll get great photos even if the dogs are crazy most of the time.

The best way to set your dog(s) up for success during an engagement session is to wear them out beforehand, bring toys or treats to get their attention, and most importantly be patient. It will take some time for them to warm up to the environment so allow them that time. And then during photos, make sure you are always doing your job so when the dog(s) finally look at the camera we can capture it.
