I met Christine during my freshman year of college. We had a small group of friends in our communications class and I’m so thankful I met them! We haven’t kept in great touch but social media kept us connected – thank goodness! I was so excited when she got in touch to capture her Downtown Wichita engagement photos.
Christine and Jeff lived in downtown Wichita together before relocating to southern Oklahoma, so they wanted to include that history in their engagements. We visited their old apartments and hang out spots around the city. I love that they chose to do this, because they’ll always have these photos to help them look back on the beginning of their relationship even if the buildings aren’t there in the future.
We had some places on our list, but as we were walking around downtown we improvised and found some beautiful spots, like the little forest in the middle of the concrete/brick jungle, and the beautiful sunset on top of the parking garage.
Their doggo, Jax, made the session even more special. Such a well-trained pup, just patiently hung out and waited for his turns in the spot light. In case you’re wondering, dogs are always welcome. I will be offended if you don’t bring your dog to your session. You’ve been warned 🙂
