Nathan and Jynna’s wedding at Chapters on the Horizon was extra special for me to document since Nate is my cousin. It was so cool to be able to have a backstage pass at my cousin’s wedding.
Vendors:
The girls had pizza brought in for lunch and we couldn’t resist having some pizza party photos.
Being a ring bearer is tough work.
Nate and Jynna shared a first look on the porch of the Victorian house at Chapters on the Horizon. They also shared personal letters.
Some more fun, since three of these guys are my cousins. They are a crazy bunch.
If you can’t tell from these family photos, this side of my family is chaotic in the best way. I think having their cousin as the photographer helped get some real moments like this out of them.
The coolest reception entrance: long boarding in your wedding attire.
Chapters on the Horizon has a little apple orchard on the property, which is part of why Nate and Jynna chose this venue. They do fall activities like apple picking every year, and Nate proposed at an apple orchard. Having one at the venue was such a full circle moment.
Nate’s mom passed away many years ago, we were all very young when it happened. So Peg, Nate’s step mom, has been around for as long as I can remember. Calling her a step mom doesn’t feel right but it is technically what she is. She gave a very moving speech before the mother/son dance recognizing that Nate’s mom is missing but that she’s been honored to raise Nate and is honored to share this dance with him.
Someone’s sparkler lost it’s sparkle, if you look closely in the second photo you can see someone pouring a drink on it to prevent a fire.
