Megan and Austin chose Overland Park Arboretum for their engagements. The best part of their session was the cinnamon rolls. They go to McLain’s for cinnamon rolls regularly so it was a perfect addition to their engagement session. We sat on the dock and hung out while eating cinnamon rolls.

From there, we walked around the Overland Park Arboretum for more engagements. Since it was fall, they had a good time throwing leaves at each other. The weather ended up being beautiful. Megan and I were able to bond over Harry Potter. I had never read the books or watched the movies until this year so she’s been keeping up with my progress because it’s crazy to her that I hadn’t experienced Harry Potter yet.

Megan and Austin will be getting married in October 2022 at The Elms Hotel & Spa. Interesting side note, The Elms is known for being haunted. Who knows if we’ll see any proof of that claim, especially since the wedding is in October. Fingers crossed.

Megan and Austin had just gotten back from a Disneyland trip. One day they spontaneously decided to go so they bought the tickets and invited a couple friends. Luckily, their friends are also down for spontaneous trips!

In her spare time, Megan enjoys baking and crafting. Following my couples on Instagram is the best because it helps me get to know them a little more. I’m always seeing Megan post about something she’s baking or making. I got to follow along on her process of making decorations for a Dr. Seuss themed baby shower. Her Circuit machine helps her make some really interesting things.

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year! I know it’ll be so sweet and so perfectly them.
